The hip hop world has been turned upside down in support of Michael J. Fox and Parkinson's disease research with the recent release of Marty McFly's Nike Air Mag sneakers from the 1989 blockbuster "Back to the Future II". There are only 1500 pairs in existence, so the fact that they are exclusive made them a "must-have" in the hip hop community.
As mentioned in an earlier article, the upper of the shoe is made of reinforced mesh. The outer sole is lined with LED panels that'll light up just like all futuristic shoes imagined in the 80's should (we're not talking corny LA Gear shoes here, people). The Air Mag is rechargeable and will stay lit for 5 hours. There's also a electroluminescent Nike logo in the strap. It's pretty much the exact replica of the pair of shoes Marty McFly famously wore with a few slight tweaks to add more support and comfort. The only thing missing is the power lacing feature! The shoes were made available via eBay's Fashion Vault, which started September 8, 8:30PM PST and ended September 18.
Below are a few pics of celebs rocking the kicks:

Chris Brown
Kanye West, Rick Ross, Wale and...
Tinie Tempah, who bought the most expensive, FIRST pair of Air Mags for $37,500.00!!!
